I have known Stephanie her ENTIRE life! I had the privilege to second shoot for her wedding on February 3rd of this year. Her sister, Kelli of Kelli Ann Design & Photography (also the Lead Photographer at this wedding) asked me to do the wedding with her shortly after she found out her sister’s wedding date. Living about 8 hours away from my hometown (Muskegon, Michigan) I was so happy that I was able to be there to watch Stephanie walk down the aisle.
I met Terry once before the wedding. But let me tell you… I liked him right away. On his wedding day, Terry & Stephanie came up to me on several different occasions just thanking me for all the work that I was doing and let me know how much they appreciated it. That stuck out! It’s one thing to do your job. It’s another to feel appreciated while doing so.
Kelli and I photographed on one of the coldest days of the winter. Granted, Michigan is having a mild winter this year, but Stephanie chose her wedding date for the beginning of February specifically because she wanted SNOW! Well she got SNOW… and a ton of wind too. Which made it hard to be outdoors for too long. But we grinned and went out anyway. Stephanie was a trooper in her open toe shoes… I felt bad bundled up in my coat and scarf.
I am excited to share some of my favorite images with you all that I got as the second shooter of this wedding. I LOVE how photogenic these two are. I know you are going to fall in love with the story of their BIG day just like I did.
Congratulations Terry & Stephanie! May God truly bless you throughout your entire marriage. May the bond of love grow stronger between you two every single day!
